This was a perfect place for me to stay - I was on a long road trip for work so I just needed a bed and a shower. Then I was back on the road early in the morning. I wish I could have hung out longer because it seemed like there were a lot of cool things going on and interesting people hanging out!

Myself and two friends stayed at the Bunkhaus for a three day July 4th weekend, and I must say we were very happy with the experience. Susan was super nice, seemed to be busy doing her own thing and making sure guests were happy. They have a great public space with art and music, a steam room (which was awesome) and the facilities were great for our needs. The bunks were fine though we didnt sleep a lot. Overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone and I expect if I go back to Cincy I will stay there again.

Sue was a friendly host and provided a quiet place to stay. I arrived late at night and out early in the morning and had more than a satisfactory stay. I also got an opportunity to enjoy the night life in the Over the Rhine neighborhood. Very fun place to visit!

Great neighborhood, great place with many unexpected amenities and kindnesses provided by Susan, a most gracious host and wonderful lady. I'll be back and will absolutely recommend the BunkHaus to friends.

Susan was very accommodating with our schedule - we arrived after midnight and Susan greeted me and my friend and showed us to our beds. We left early in the morning for the Reds game and were able to leave our car by the hostel and walk around the city. The BunkHaus has a lot of character and is in a great cultural location within Cincinnati. Arrive early and Susan will be happy to give you a great introduction to the city.

This place is really awesome. There's a few really cool shops, venues, and bars in walking distance.
Susan was cool herself and was very helpful. 5 stars.

Really nice place! Friendly and quirky, easy walking to the night life amenities of the beautiful artsy Over the Rhine district. Very glad Susan is running this place, can't wait to come back.

Susan is a great host! Warm, welcoming, she's never met a stranger! The location is fantastic - walk to anything downtown and frequent bus service to other areas. I will stay again anytime. Even if I'm passing through I'd want to stop to see my new friend Susan.

I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cincinnati. Susan is the most open, welcoming and hospitable host. I loved the combination of a warm, homey vibe retaining and reflecting the creative atmosphere of the OTR neighborhood. Super location: great coffee, restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Access local bus routes. Can walk downtown easily. Thanks Bunk Haus!

absolutely love the Bunkhaus. This is my second time staying and I must say that I do love downtown living! Susan is super cool, accommodating, warm, friendly and her house is an artists' dream. Her place is kid-friendly as I've had my daughter with me both times and she really enjoyed herself. She's even played with Susan's granddaughter several times who is super cute and funny! With all the bad weather lately, no worries. There were nice fluffy comforters for snoozing and Susan makes a killer broccoli cheese soup. Delish!

Susan was incredibly hospitable and made every aspect of my stay as enjoyable as possible. My only regret was not being able to spend more time hanging out with her and her Over the Rhine-ian gang. Every guest was respectful and interesting. Would definitely stay there again.

was driving in a snowstorm from Va and the heat in my car went out, long cold drive in bad conditions. I arrived very late and Susan was waiting to let me in with two hot stones to warm my hands. The room was warm and quiet, and bunk was snug. Up early and back on the road, wish I could have hung out longer but I was on a mission to the Chicago Contemporary Circus Festival. I would stay there again:)
